Kelan Advisors, LLC (“KAL”) is a management consulting and research firm that advises clients on a wide range of strategic and financial matters. 

Built around the research Dr. Mansharamani has conducted, the firm adopts a generalist approach to addressing specialist problems — in a wide range of industries and geographies.  More often than not, leaders are so focused on the most pressing issues facing their business that they fail to adequately understand the context (industry, macroeconomic, geopolitical, etc.) in which their organization is operating. 

Further, behavioral decision-making biases often drive managers into developing false confidence with respect to cause/effect relationships.  To help leaders overcome these twin problems (narrow focus, overconfidence), KAL’s approach to helping leaders is centered on two philosophical pillars:

(a) Context Matters; and
(b) The World is Probabilistic

This focus has resulted in a wide range of client problems that KAL has helped address, ranging from development of resilient strategic asset allocation frameworks, senior leadership education on probabilistic thinking, and a broad range of other issues.
